I went to a hipster place and totally loved it.  Took a quick Baguio break to breathe in some pine tree scented  air and get a dose of nostalgia during election time down in La Union.  We had lunch at the Manor in Camp John Hay.  Bought some bread, strawberry jam (which I like better than Good Shepherd’s) and peanut brittle at the Manor shops.  But, the highlight of our trip was a visit to Baguio Craft Brewery.

A boutique style business, they craft their own beer and and infuse flavours to make special concoctions.  I especially loved the Lagud, which uses Baguio strawberries.  We also tried the beer with the highest alcohol content (10%) which was the Zigzagger and another favourite English Man in New York that had after notes of caramel.  They also can beer for customers to take home a six-pack.

We loved their beer battered onion rings, beer marinated liempo (pork belly) and their sausage platter.  And went home with a satisfied tummies and a happy buzz.

It was a perfect afternoon with not a care in the world.  A place we can boast about despite its simplicity.  You all must visit on your next Baguio getaway.
