My 2016’s Best

I only do this once a year because it takes a lot for me to try, test and really decide to stick to a product.  Everything I am posting as this year’s best, is and will be something I use in my daily routine and part of my needs, long term. These are the products and my go to brands for beauty, fashion, food and things I hold close to my heart.  I hope you will discover them and enjoy them as much as I do.

  1. Green Tea- pure high quality matcha powder is best.  Make sure you get the kind that does not oxidize or change color.  It should remain a delicate green and not turn yellow or brown.  Not a day goes by without green tea, it is my morning “coffee”.  It is also my ultimate immune system support and booster, clear skin treatment and energy storehouse.  Healthy Options has a good selection.  Pricey but worth it.

look for powdered matcha that dissolves easily, not tea bags.

2. FÄE Candles- you know how I love these high quality, local candles.  And now there’s more to love as FÄE has teamed up with my good friend Alex Eduque of the MovEd Foundation.  Alex has designed these pretty food grade vessels that can be re used for dining or decoration.  Sold exclusively at Philux Home in the Shang Ri La Hotel, The Fort.  All proceeds benefit the children of MovEd for their schooling and education.

Japanese products, I love!

3. Meishoku Whitening Eye Cream- with continued use, you will no longer need concealer.  Under eye area whitens and helps you achieve a fresher look with supple skin around the eye area.  It is always out of stock, so make sure to call and reserve.

4. Bouncia Body Wash- I love the scent of this!  It keeps you fresh all day and is very gentle on your skin.  So on days you are in a rush and forget to put lotion, Bouncia won’t dry you out.

5. ANESSA (gold) Sunscreen- to try is to believe.  This has a smooth powder finish and does not make you look or feel oily.  At SPF50 too!
