2019 was a total roller coaster for my family, a lot of my friends and me. The highs were as volatile as the lows but we survived and it only reminds us that the only thing that’s constant is change. Embrace the good times and pray through the hard times. God always has a way of showing us how and why His timing is perfect. We just need to sit in silence. Remember too that bad times don’t last and will ALWAYS come to pass.

So, we got a victory but with that, I gained a hater. I’ve never really gotten hate since the start of my blogging and entrepreneurial endeavors but it seems I’ve pissed someone off or I just ain’t her cup of tea. These things don’t really bother me unless it puts my children, family or me in danger. I have been receiving direct messages and some nasty comments on instagram, including way too many alerts for me to change my passwords from gmail. But, I have reported this to the proper authorities and trust that all will go well. Other than that, it’s no skin off my back. The hassle though of having to change passwords can be a bit irritating—but it’s all good.

Apart from nasty comments and DM’s, I’ve been getting these alerts at 3:45am, 5am & 6am.

Which leads me to where I’m at today with the blog. The scene has changed and information can easily be disseminated on Instagram and Instagram stories. Adding it here too will be nothing but delayed and redundant information that will bore you to tears.

I am now turning this blog (which is still very much my home on the internet) into a website since the blogging scene has changed and I’m definitely not a VLOGGER like my dear friend Small Laude (please like and subscribe to her YouTube channel) and the great vloggers out there who just do it so effortlessly. Plus, I hate my voice. 😂

Social media handles will still be a little bit of everything, nothing has changed there.

Moving forward, all my PASSIONS, PROJECTS and PRODUCTS will be on this website and it will exist to be the platform of my advocacy and love for all things local while supporting my favorites loyally. Also, the occasional rigors of daily life (like the story I just shared) and the importance of family, sharing hard learned lessons and the things I know for sure. Still trying my best to inspire because there’s more to everyone’s feed goals than all the nice stuff we see. Life can sometimes be painful, out of control and lonesome. Know that you are not alone. 🙏

Drop me a message. A happy 2020 to you all!
