The one reason I’m sharing this story is because I’m always asked, of all things one can do, why a blog? Here goes.

I used to work in the corporate world for various outfits before my husband became a politician. Then a number of life-changing experiences occurred after my husband went into public office. I decided to stop working, concentrate on my kids and go back to my first love, which is cooking and keeping house.

Fast forward to today, wherein my kids are older and into activities of their own, my husband in the province some days of the week and me here, with time on my hands. My spring cleaning at home became more often (cleaning our cabinets and giving away stuff), I was in the kitchen most of the time, I took to making bottles of food orders which pleasantly surprised me, was a success! I had more time counseling so many friends with various problems.

And then it hit me: The realization of how I love to share.

I wanted to share my recipes passed down from generations; to share wisdom from all I’ve learned; share what I continuously discover; open people’s eyes to how we can live inspired. All this because, unconsciously, I was living with an attitude of gratefulness, which was so liberating. Then, I realized, I simply wanted to share. I love success stories and derive pleasure from hearing stories of struggle that turned into victory.

I won’t be attending all the latest events as I’m really not the going out type, but I will attend what I like, love and believe in. Then, share it with all of you. I have been blessed immensely with friends, and people in my life who I consider rock stars, all of whom I’ve learned from, who all have stories to tell, who emerged at the top after all sorts of difficulties and situations. I’ve been equally blessed with great teachers and pastors who are filled with wisdom and knowledge beyond compare. Because of all this, I have come to discover that my life has gotten it’s strength from inspiration.

This being my realization, I hope you will find your morsel of inspiration each time you visit my site.

To God be the glory.
