Printsonalities Paperie X Alex Eduque

Save the date!  On August 13, 2015, Printsonalities Paperie X Alex Eduque, will be making a difference once again.  I love collaborations because I feel they are blessed partnerships.  They benefit everyone involved and in this case, not only the collaborators but the children of the MovEd foundation.  Everybody wins when you share your talents and celebrate each other.  And on Thursday, that is exactly what you can expect when you head on over to this trunkshow.

My good friend Alex Eduque, MovEd Founder and Chairperson has partnered with Printsonalities Founder and Chief Inspiration Officer Chiw Bailon.  This, they say, “is a partnership brewed from a love and passion for paper and everything beautiful; a synergy brought about by common desire to spread gratitude and make a difference in the life of the next generation.”

The collaboration between these two golden hearted ladies is called Chic Metropole.  Alex will be doing the doodles, while Chiw, executes it into high quality stationery.  Chic and laid back city living was the drawing board for this collection.  They are a combination of Alex’s favourite things from her two homes, Manila and New York.  In this day of electronic everything, Alex and Chiw hope to spark the love for paper once again to those who have forgotten (me included) and this generation.  They want to bring back the old school gesture of showing gratitude to their nearest and dearest by sending effort filled handwritten notes.

MovEd: Founded in 2012, to date has served a total of 367 students and their families over the last three years.  At present (SY 2015-2016), MovEd has expanded its reach and serves a total of 499 students across 10 sites – Navotas, Pasig, Parañaque (NCR). And, 7 in the third district of Camarines Sur.  Furthermore, MovEd has signed on to be the program and curriculum enhancement partner of the city of Parañaque, and has trained 26 of its teachers last summer.  This is in partnership with the local government, under the leadership of Mayor Edwin L. Olivares.

Printsonalities, the company which quite literally “prints out personality” was born out of a passion for paper in 1998. With the desire to service the needs for personalized paper products (the likes of notepads, stickers, labels, ribbons, mouse pads etc…), sisters Chiw Bailon and Noky Gatmaitan expanded their line to include what they see to be the greatest expression of people’s personalities: weddings and milestone event invites. And after that first wedding invitation was printed and sent out, the company has never looked back. A decade and a half later, Printsonalities continues to blaze ahead in the paper industry – setting the highest standards for quality and personal service for invitations and stationery.  Paperie is the line that focuses solely on personalised stationery and is a sub brand of Printsonalities.
