Everybody who knows us, knows that when it comes to fathers day, mothers day and valentines, we celebrate at home.  We loathe the traffic, and don’t like the stress of having to reserve early only to arrive at super packed restaurants that have slower than usual service.  Spending a simple and special dinner at home is what we do.

The five of us.  I try to prepare a favourite dish of each one of my family members and put it all together, toasting to a night of bonding and a relaxed atmosphere.  This year, we celebrated both fathers day and my wedding anniversary a week early because of previous plans we had made months before.  This is how it looks like, nothing fancy but full of love.

We celebrate love and life like this on these occasions year after year.  And we wouldn’t have it any other way.  Happy Fathers Day to all the awesome dads out there.
