Because of my love of wearing our local designers on trips, I recently brought new pieces by my dear friend,  Mandy Dela Rama, on a quick trip to Singapore.  I still get a kick out of how much our Filipino talent gets noticed and complimented abroad.  It makes me so proud when I am away and am told how much our local items are admired.  This last trip was no exception.  The ooh’s and aah’s were resounding.  I may sound like a broken record saying this in my conversations but, we truly are world class!  Singapore being warm and humid like Manila, is very easy to dress for.  With Mandy’s lovely pieces and just two pairs of shoes, dressing up was a breeze, not to mention, super fun.
